170 km with stops: Banff for lunch, then the Bankhead ghost town on the way down to Canmore.

Lake Louise, Moraine, and the Bow
Lake Louise and Moraine Lake on the connector shuttle from Lake Louise Inn — Moraine has not been drivable for years, so the shuttle is the way in.
Late afternoon, a scenic float on the Bow River from Canmore, with the Three Sisters from the water. Dinner at Änkôr.
Canmore → Columbia Icefield → Tete Jaune Cache
The big driving day — seven to eight hours with the stops, north on Highway 93, the Icefields Parkway, which is routinely called the most beautiful road in the world and for once the claim survives contact.
Midway: the Columbia Icefield, out onto the glacier and then the Skywalk.
On through Jasper and west on Highway 16 to Terracana Ranch Resort at Tete Jaune Cache — a chalet with a river view, for three nights.
Mount Robson, gently
Deliberately easy: the Robson valley at walking pace, and an early night. The 07:00 start tomorrow is the reason.
Berg Lake Trail
The centrepiece. A helicopter from the valley floor to Robson Pass, at the top of the Berg Lake Trail, and then the whole thing on foot, downhill, 23 km back to the trailhead.
The trail was closed for years after the 2021 floods took out the lower sections, and flying in is what makes a day trip of something that is otherwise a multi-day carry.
